MINI STORY PART TRES!! (3)

Hey guys, before you read the story, I just wanna tell you that I know its random....haha I was just really bored one day and had this story in my head and typed everything that was in my head on Notepad before I forgot it. LOL. so here's the story, and don't hate me if its horrible..(Btw don't be surprised if this story goes nowhere and I just delete it!)

"Hey Casey!!" I yelled. Casey looked startled to see me.

"Oh, hey Sammy.." he said, obviously not in a good mood.

"What's up?!" I said. "Wanna play some softball?"

"Sureee, but first i have to tell you something.." he said.

Oh god, I hoped it wasn't going to be this serious.

"Okay, shoot. What's wrong Case?" I asked. I took a seat next to him on the bench as I started to unpack my softball things.

"Well, remember how I said before school ended, about how this summer we would spend alot of time together?"

It was true. Now that Casey and I were KINDA a couple, before the end of the year, Casey and I vowed that we would spend time together this summer since i probably wouldn't see him that much the next year since he was going to high school.

"Umm yesss.....?." I said. "Why?" I kinda predicted the next part.

"Well, right at the last minute, dad made a surprise announcement to me and Heather that we were going to be visiting relatives in Canada for the WHOLE summer. Seriously, from beginning to end." he said.

"Awwwww oh, well, umm okayy, well I understand, I mean, I am pretty dissapointed, but if you HAVE to go visit relatives, then I completely understand." I said. "And its not FOREVER, right?" I said, jokingly. I can't believe he was stressing so much about this, and how worried I was.

"Well theres a next part...." he said. He looked straight into my face with those eyes that I can never get over! But, for once, they looked sad. Then he continued. "Dad also told us about how we would be looking at some houses there. Something about how he couldn't take it here with all the drama of YOUR mom and MY dad, remember? And drama about Heather, and some other stuff." he said. "He told us he wants to start a new life there, start from scratch. Of course Heather and i protested, since Heather has all her friends here, and I have YOU, umm, and of course, my other friends... But dad has his mind pretty set." He said, looking like HE was about to cry.

Okay, now, my heart was racing like crazy. I didn't even notice that he emphasized the word YOU, because now a million thoughts were jumbling through my head. Casey, moving to Canada???!? I thought. No! This can't be! I'll never see him again, and-

"Sammy?" He said. "Are you okay?"

Problem was, I wasn't. I was starting to not breathe right, and everything on my body was hurting. The first time we were actually gonna spend time this summer as a couple, and then this surprise announcement was gonna change everything.

"Casey, I-" But I couldn't finish. I did something I regret doing. I ran away, away from the only thing in my life I cared about, I actually loved. I just couldn't think, so I ran, just kept running until I couldn't stop. I ran away so fast, I left my softball things on the bench at the park. Who cares? I'll just get them later. After a while, I ended up in front of my school. I looked at my school, and all the memories came rushing back. The good ones, the bad ones. Mostly the memories of the dance were rushing back. I was there for a pretty long time, just thinking, until it finally grew dark and I went home. As soon as I entered the apartment, Grams said:

"Samantha, Casey called you about three times this evening. Is there something wrong?" She asked.

"Oh, um, no, just something about Heather being in trouble again." I lied.

"Oh, well okay, he said to call him back later..." Grams said.

"Oh okay, I will." I said. But I didn't.

Grams went to her room. I just watched TV until like, 11:00, then crashed on the couch. The phone rang about two more times after I came home. But I ignored it. Talking to Casey would just make the feeling worse. I hoped for a long time that his dad would change his mind. And I mean, a LONG time.

Sorry guys for not updating the story! Aaahh I have so many projects due at school, I have other stories (non-sammy related) on other websites, and I'm SOOO busy! :( But as soon as I can i'll update!
